She is ‘Certified Human Resource Management Personnel’ (from Govt. of Dubai, UAE). Currently working as HR Manager at F1 group of Companies (9 different companies with 500 Plus staff), she is responsible for overall HR Related work- both on operational and strategic level.
She has been working for more than a decade now and got experience from Nepal and UAE. Being exposed to the international market has given her the confidence to work in multi cultural environment. Moreover she is an IOSH trained for Health and safety and certified auditor for ISO 9001: 2008.
She is mature, diplomatic and friendly person who believes in team work. Challenging works excites me and good working environment motivates her to give her best.

• What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
o My passion has always been ‘Human Beings’. The complexities of Human Behavior intrigue me so much. It is with this curiosity I developed my career in HR which I absolutely love.
o And due the same passion I am also doing my master in Psychology.
o Apart from that travelling is also my passion.

• What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
o Career Counseling. Or any other counseling, if I can.


• What are you surprisingly good at?
o The ability to share and understand the feelings of others

• Can you share some of your life remembering moments?
o When I bid farewell to the company I was working for in UAE, my immediate supervisor burst into tears. It was a very touchy moment.
o Other one would be my first Solo trip to Bali few months back.

• How long have you been working in your field?
o -13 years.


• How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?
o My education is the cornerstone of my life. It made me confident. But real life experiences were major contributors for my growth and personal development.

• Did you accidently join this career or you choose from childhood?
o I always knew I had people skills but after I joined Dwarika’s group then my passion developed into understanding and managing the people and their skills


• What are your goals for next 10 years?
o I am open for options and opportunities however that might come. Rest assured I will be working and contributing my skills in any people related job.


• What was the biggest hurdle you faced when working for your career and how you overcame it?
o The biggest hurdle in my career was when I moved to UAE for work. The working style there was completely different from what I was used to do. Frankly, I was quite lost in the beginning. But then I slowly picked up. I listened and observed more. And asked questions when confused. My then Supervisor/Manager also helped me a lot to overcome this hurdle.


• 10. Your biggest failure?
o I take all my failures as lessons. But there are times when failure can help you to change your life course, for me that would be doing a marketing job in my initial career. I thought since I had good conversation skills I will be good at it. But when I started it I realized how challenging the work is. How difficult it can be to approach people and convince them. So I quit within 2 months. I could not do it.
o But I am thankful for that job or else I would have never been channelized into a right direction.


• Whom do you give all the credit for your success?
o Myself  and of course to my family and friends. I have a good support system.


• What things build you? what are the qualities that all should have to be successful in their career?
o I think, who I’m today is because of my passion towards my work and my positivity.
o To be successful in ones career one should enjoy it. Should really love what they are doing and understand the value that it is creating. If you accept something wholeheartedly and believe in it everything else follows like hardwork, perseverance, positivity, And all these things will definitely make you successful. So do something that you enjoy whatever that might be.


• What is the biggest dream you have?
o My biggest dream is to travel the world.
o I also dream about the days when Nepali people residing outside Nepal, who wants to come back but are scared of uncertainties, can come back without thinking twice. And to see demand and supply of manpower matching up in workforce.


• What’s your biggest accomplishment which you can tell us till now?
o My biggest achievement would be at F1soft. When I joined in it was100 plus staff and now its 600 plus in less than 3 years. Me and My team did struggled a lot but we managed to implement right strategies at place. Sometime it was trial and error but we never stopped evolving and even with 600% increment, we were able to manage it properly and efficiently.


• What you suggest to youths who want to join in similar career as you?
o Your education will teach you all about the work you need to do and over the years you will gain exposure to make all the strategies but if you actually do not care about wellbeing of others be it staff, company or anyone that matters, there is no point doing it. So learn all the required skills but be sensitive enough to understand that you are dealing with humans. Sometime you need to take tough decisions but its ok, do it with conviction and respect.
