What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Hosting events, being a part of a event, appearing on media.
What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
I love doing what I am doing, money was never primary source of attraction, for me opportunity and finding new avenues was important, being blessed from my parents they never forced me to work for money, I only used to work for career motive and realizing good opportunity. If it a very very good thing then I used to work on sponsorship. Money will come eventually but my focus never was money.
What are you surprisingly good at?
Organizing and Planning. I used to do a daily live show, studies, family function, shoot and TV shows and so many work but I always do best to manage time. I also manage personal and family relationship. I used to go to college , then office, then freelance work on evening, go home finish my college assignment and also give time to home.
Can you share some of your life remembering moments?
When I started doing event from 2016, somehow I got this opportunity to be on organizing team of china festival, I got chance to host the event. It was most challenging for first time, speaking in front of very big nationa personality. I got chance to take interview of Sooraj dai from one of Business Magazine where i used to work. And, somehow he got impressed of my skill and then I got opportunity to start my career at Kantipur.
How long have you been working in your field?
I used to host at Ace Institute of Management, from college days, I used to host many college function. Officially i started it from late 2016.
How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?
My College is from St Mary , 10+2 on Science, then I choose BBA on Banking and Insurance, but from 1st 2nd year of bachelors degree I was more focused to TV, Media, Events. I am not related on work and education as a match. But experience wise I used to be editor for college magazine, I used to manage events, organize event on college, like Miss Freshers, and various activities of college as well from Ace. It boosted my confidence.
Did you accidently join this career or you choose from childhood?
I was attracted towards TV, I used to choose news reader from childhood. Slowly I chose presenter of TV, I love to speak about event, TV. My first appearance was 2007, I started fan club slow, class 6 7 I got into television, I loved the television since then.
What are your goals for next 10 years?
It is a lot of time but what I feel is there are lot of young girls and guys who want to be in media, but they don’t have a proper direction and mentor, I can help them direct them properly in media. Somewhere or other, I will try to be their mentor, I might start own venture as well.
What was the biggest hurdle you faced when working for your career and how you overcame it?
In starting of career I am very lucky, I met right people on right time and guiding hands. They have been few people who were cheat me with monetary issue.
Your biggest failure?
Not much, but I regret if I also gave focus and attention on my studies as well. I could have done on my studies things would have been much better. I used to be full focused on my work.
Whom do you give all the credit for your success?
Not only one, first I have worked very very hard to be doing, I am very particular, focus, and attitude towards perfection. I look into details that is my strength. Also my television team, my mom and dad, my dad is very understanding and trust me for any work. My dad always is like my backup whom I could count on anything. My mom is my strength which taught me fashion sense, public appearance. My mom dad are my critic as well, they listen to every of my shows, they never miss any of my shows and always give me suggestion and guidance.
What things build you? what are the qualities that all should have to be successful in their career?
Perseverance, patience, dedication, honesty and striving for perfection, team work, Giving ur best all the time
What is the biggest dream you have?
so much achievement I can achieve, to represent our country in international media and international platform.
What’s your biggest accomplishment which you can tell us till now?
I just turned 24 right now and only been around 3 years on media. There are miles and miles to go before we move.
What you suggest to youths who want to join in similar career as you?
To all new comers, be prepared, be confident, know about this things, education background, don’t give up if some time it is low, come with good skill and positive attitude.
