She is Managing Director of Fast Mover Logistics, one of leading Logistics management company in Nepal. In less than two years she has made it one of biggest company in Nepal.

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Answer: I am professionally passionate about managing business. Once you set up your foot in any running business, the most crucial factor is how you manage it. Be it, finance, marketing, inventory, purchase and sales along with employee management and so on. Once you meet the desired goal, you have your heads turned high.
Personally I’m passionate about reading as much books I can, especially biographies.


What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
Answer: I think I would end up being a volunteer in a dog rescue programs. I have always been a dog lover since my childhood and till today; I have rescued more than 25 street dogs till date and looking forward for more.


What are you surprisingly good at?
Answer: Surprisingly I’m good at convincing people and motivating them for their betterment both professionally and personally. It has always been my cup of tea.


Can you share some of your life remembering moments?
Answer: Opening branches at more than 45 major cities of Nepal within 2 years is something I always cherish.


How long have you been working in your field?
Answer: It has been almost 6 to 7 years working in this field to gain the experience and know about the market.


How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?
Answer: Being a management student with MBS degree, I have directly linked my learning and educational experiences into my professional career. Currently, being the Managing Director of the logistics company having an employee above 85, I look after employee management, inventory, sales, finance, marketing and keep doing SWOT analysis every now and then.
The personal experiences I have gained being an employee has helped me to look after the needs of my employees more closely.


Did you accidently join this career or you choose from childhood?
Answer: It was my life-long dream to run a company working collaboratively with good team players. However, logistics was not a very first idea but it is one of the best decision of my life.


What are your goals for next 10 years?
Answer: To introduce my business globally all over the world and expand the wings as much possible.


What was the biggest hurdle you faced when working for your career and how you overcame it?
Answer: The biggest hurdle was convincing my mom to start a business on expense of quitting the handsome salaried income job. My salary almost made 50% of my family budget. This was the reason my mom was scared of me joining a business.
At first, it was very hard convincing her but I started sharing my dreams during the dinner time which lasted for half an hour on daily basis. I put examples of few visionary female entrepreneurs from Nepal on how they started their journey with hardship and how they are respected in the society. After convincing her for almost two weeks, she finally gave the green signal.


Your biggest failure?
Answer: Thankful to the god, I have not yet experienced any failure till the date. I have been a visionary person since my childhood. I do lot of homework and take suggestions from my elders before I jump into any single project.


Whom do you give all the credit for your success?
Answer: I give all the credit to my mom as even being a single parent she never made me realize the absence of a father.


What things build you? What are the qualities that all should have to be successful in their career?
Answer: Past career experiences, confidence, and obviously support from business partners helped me groom well. Everyone should do research and be able to focus on the target they want to grab in order to be successful.


What is the biggest dream you have?
Answer: I want to be an inspirational icon amongst the youth especially female entrepreneurs.


What’s your biggest accomplishment which you can tell us till now?
Answer: Joining the business consisting 20 employees with services in 10 cities and turning it into 85 plus employees with services currently in 45 plus cities, I believe this is my biggest accomplishment till date.


What you suggest to youths who want to join in similar career as you?
Answer: I heartily welcome youths to join the same career but before stepping in, I urge them to research and learn the current market, business competitors. Most importantly come into this business with a good cash backup, as we have faced many financial hurdles which I doubt everyone cannot cope up with.
